Dance #9 was the dance of the month. Dances #6, #11, and #12 were the hard dances on the upcoming Jane Austen Ball in Los Angeles.

Here was the programming thinking for building up to the challenges:

  1. Introduced rights and lefts for #8 and #12, and slip-jig timing for #7.
  2. Introduced half figure eights for #6, and mirror actions for #9.
  3. Introduced gates for #7.
  4. Introduced hey for #9 and #11.
  5. Reinforced hey for #9.
  6. Goal dance.
  7. Had heys running across the set in preparation for #9.
  8. Preparation for dance #12.
  9. Goal dance.
  10. Recovery/rest dance in the midst of complex stuff.
  11. Goal dance.
  12. Goal dance.

(Had I had more time, I would have included "Trip to Tunbridge" for "Prince William". But I didn't.)
