I tried something new with "Awesome Double Progression Dance" -- there was only one set with an even number of couples, so after a while I changed one go-through of the dance to make it single progression -- by having them swing the same neighbors as they circled and starred with. It was done with a lot of leading patter in the A1/A2, with a warning it was only for that time. And then calling "new neighbors" for the next several iterations at the end of the A2. That trick got people to swing all their neighbors.
