I'm a big fan of the 'weave the line' type of move, and wish I could include it in every evening. Unfortunately there's only so many dances in an evening, so I can't often use it. But when I do, "Laura's Zigzag" is my first, fourth, and sixth choice.
It's the simplest dance I've found where it is a Major Figure, rather than an incidental blip of a progression. The flow is there and back again with a preview, working out of circles going both ways. And men and women each have a chance to lead the figure.
